The County of Elgin is situated in the heart of Southwestern Ontario along the north shore of Lake Erie and due south of Highway 401. The County is an upper-tier municipality comprised of seven local municipalities and covers approximately 460,000 acres with a population of approximately 52,000 residents. For more information regarding the County of Elgin and the services it provides, please visit www.elgincounty.ca. The County of Elgin is inviting Proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Generator Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services for emergency generators and associated equipment located at various County facilities and participating agency locations. The successful Proponent will be responsible for providing scheduled inspections, preventative maintenance, testing, emergency response services, repair recommendations and related services in accordance with the requirements outlined in this Request for Proposal. Services shall be performed by qualified personnel with experience in the inspection, maintenance and repair of emergency power generation systems and associated transfer switch equipment. The County seeks to establish a contractual relationship with a Proponent capable of providing reliable service, timely response, comprehensive reporting and technical expertise to support the continued operation and reliability of emergency generator systems.
