The Municipality of Dutton Dunwich is soliciting bids for Pumping Station 1 and Clarifier Upgrades. This project includes converting the existing pump station into a manhole to provide additional storage during high-flow periods and constructing a new 3.5 m x 3.5 m Pump Station No. 1 complete with new process piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems, as well as a backup generator with automatic transfer switch, concrete pad, and all required wiring and connections. The existing Clarifier 1 will be upgraded with a new preselected clarifier mechanism, including removal of existing equipment, cleaning of the tank, installation of the new mechanism, and reinstallation of the FRP cover. The project also includes installation of a new 300 mm HDPE DR17 forcemain from the new pumping station to Valve Chamber 2, and a 200 mm forcemain connection to the existing screening facility. |
